An approach to a contract with a mentor/mentee

  1. Define the role of the Mentor.
  2. Define the role of the Mentee.
  3. Establish ground rules around:
    a. Meeting frequency.
    b. Objectives/goals for the mentoring relationship.
    c. Commitments for the mentor.
    d. Commitment for the mentee.
    e. Confidentiality.
    f. Periodic check ins.
    g. When the relationship can be terminated by either party if necessary.
