The optimal team required is determined by the type of question being addressed and generally consists of clinical or content experts with extensive knowledge of the review topic, methodologists with expertise in systematic reviews, librarians to help search the literature comprehensively, and epidemiologists or other researchers with experience in conducting primary research on the topic.
